My name is Lindsay and I am hopelessly addicted to espresso I have been doing web design full-time for the past seven years, though I have been building websites since the mid-90s.
I have always been fascinated by technology, specifically by how people can use technology to express themselves, to accomplish their unique goals, and to connect with others. I became a web designer because I enjoy helping individuals and businesses do all three. I love creating positive and pleasant user experiences on the web - to me, a good website is one that combines an aesthetically pleasing environment with rock-solid functionality.
Typing 95 wpm one-handed. Seriously.
When I'm not designing websites or playing with Photoshop, you can usually find me out adventuring in the mountains with my digital SLR in tow. I play just as hard as I work, dedicating most of my "downtime" to rock climbing, ice climbing, hiking, backpacking, kayaking, and running. I'm currently training to climb Mount Olympus in the summer of 2011. On rainy days, I curl up with my dachshund on the couch and indulge my appetite for good cinema and literature.
Right now, I am employed full-time. However, I continue to freelance as a web designer for CompassPoint Web Design and linCreative. Please email me if you might be interested in working with me on a freelance basis.
